23 New Mobile Productivity Apps in November 2011

The month of November brought shipping and purchasing apps, a virtual assistant app, several apps to enhance your meetings, and a suite of design apps.

Here is a list of November’s new mobile productivity apps for Android and Apple iOS. There are both paid and free apps for your mobile productivity.

Instant Meeting. This ring mode manager allows you to change your ring mode for an amount of time (meeting mode). Send automated SMS messages to callers. Application includes a widget for your home screen. Price: Free.

ODF Viewer. ODF Viewer is a tool for viewing text documents, presentations and spreadsheet on the Open Document Format. Price: Free.

Proximity Alerts. Alert others when you’re approaching. Define multiple proximity alerts, and when you reach the proximity, the action is fired. Automate calls, SMS, or inform a server. Price: Free.

SaveMeeting. Record, edit and share your meetings. Record markers in the audio with your mobile device. Upload up to 1,000 minutes to SaveMeeting for free. Enable clients and colleagues to play and check your meetings. Price: Free.

Talk Diary (free version). Talk Diary is a scheduling application with an easy-to-use interface. Check daily, weekly, and monthly schedules. Talk Diary also provides a convenient widget. Price: Free.

Adobe Collage. Combine images, drawings, and text to create concepts on your Android tablet. Capture images, drawings, text, and files from select Adobe Creative Suite components. Upload your files to Adobe Creative Cloud to refine later or share with others. Price: $9.99.

Adobe Proto. Adobe Proto lets you create interactive wireframes of websites and apps on your Android tablet with the convenience of simple touch gestures. Sketch website and mobile app layouts with simple finger strokes. Price: $9.99.

Adobe Kuler. Generate color themes on your Android tablet with easy-to-use tools that can inspire any design project. Explore hundreds of thousands of color themes created by the Kuler community, a social network of color enthusiasts. Price: $9.99.

CardSharing. Share personal and business contact information instantly. Fill out your digital contact card for home and work. Share appropriate cards with friends, family, coworkers, and business leads through email, text or a QR code scan. Price: Free.

Skyvi. Skyvi is a virtual assistant app. Ask questions on everything from local businesses to food nutrition. Access and update Facebook and Twitter with just your voice. Price: Free.

Sales Agent. This app helps you keep track of day-to-day sales and marketing calls to customers. Assign sales targets to team members and keep a sales record. Visualize performance. Price: Free.

iOS

FileHound. This is a remote desktop app. Access files on your computer and edit them. No need to sync your files. Price: $0.99.

Slice. Organize your online purchases and emailed receipts. Slice combs through Gmail and Yahoo! Mail to find receipts and track spending. Get push notifications when a package is shipped or delivered. Price: Free.

Morning Coffee. This app is a morning dashboard to start your day with everything you need: alarm clock, news web, news RSS, Facebook, weather, web links. Start your day with your essentials. Price: $0.99.

Goodzer. Goodzer is a personal shopping assistant. Whatever product you’re looking to buy, Goodzer displays nearby stores that carry the item. Get price, availability, directions to the store and other related information. Price: Free.

My Templates. This app allows you to create SMS and email templates. Select default information. View most used and last used templates. Price: $0.99.

InkNotes HD. This notebook app possesses a variety of nice features: PDF annotation, stencil creation, drag and drop folders, color stickers and multiple pencil styles. Price: $0.99.

Meetings – Notebooks for Work. Meetings helps you create structured meeting notes that are consistent, clear, and fully searchable. Note who was there, what was said, and what needs to happen next. Price: $2.99.

Gmail. Get the official Gmail experience for iOS. Search your mail, and read threaded conversations. Organize your mail by archiving, labeling, starring, deleting, and reporting spam. Auto-fill contact names as you type. Price: Free.

Awesome Calendar. This is a calendar app that has a clean and attractive design. Nice daily, weekly, and monthly overviews in portrait and landscape. Full text search, note, and to-do list functions. Price: $2.99.
