Utilizing free elements and tools from the design community can be a good way to add style and value to your website.

Here is a list of new web tools and design elements from fall 2016. There are designer and developer apps, fonts, icon sets, themes, and more. All of these elements are free.

Hero Patterns. Hero Patterns is a collection of customizable SVG background patterns.

Figma. Figma is an interface design tool with real-time collaboration for teams. Multiplayer editing lets you work on files with multiple users at the same time. Work is constantly saved with version history. Figma is free at least through the end of 2016 and always free for students.

React Color. React Color is a collection of 13 different color pickers, including ones from Sketch, Photoshop, and Chrome. Use the building block components to make your own.
