    Here are a few questions you need to ask before applying for venture capital.

    1. Do you have sales, users, or signed contracts? Ideas don’t get funded
    2. Do you have an experienced management team?
    3. Are you incorporated? VC’s won’t invest in a sole proprietorship… duh
    4. Do you have a powerful business plan executive summary
    5. Do you have a full business plan in case your executive summary does its job?
