Group payments in Messenger. For Android and desktop, you can now send or receive money between groups of people on Facebook Messenger. It’s free, fast, and secure. Tap on the plus sign in the bottom left hand corner of a group conversation to find more features, and tap the payments icon ($). Then, choose who to send or request money from. You can choose everyone in the group or only a few members. Enter the amount you want to request per person or the total sum to divide evenly. Finally, you can specify what the money is for.

Booster launches in the App Store. The free mobile app Booster has launched in the App Store, distinguishing itself as a live video app that focuses exclusively on ecommerce. Users can buy or sell any products during live video streams, while also interacting with broadcasters to learn more about the items for sale and the people who sell them.

Wapack Labs Corp. introduces Cyber Threat Analysis Center. Wapack Labs Corporation has announced that its new service, Cyber Threat Analysis Center, is now available for production use. CTAC monitors threats against your networks and your supply chain in a single console. The service can compare malicious activity directed at you against what is happening with your industry peers or across all industries. CTAC allows users to analyze malware and other technical intelligence without requiring staff with advanced technical skills.

Demandbase launches the industry’s first AI-based website personalization solution for B2B. Demandbase, a player in account-based marketing, has introduced the industry’s first artificial-intelligence-based website personalization solution to its product suite. Site Optimization extends Demandbase’s Website Personalization solution by automatically recommending specific content and high-value pages to each visitor based on AI-driven insights. By combining AI and an account-based-marketing focus, Site Optimization delivers hyper-personalized content based on the individual and the company, so you can accelerate and streamline the buyer’s journey and deliver higher conversion rates. Site Optimization provides multiple layout options for content recommendations on a customer’s website and can be up and running in days.

DEG acquires ecommerce firm We Do Commerce. DEG, a full-service digital agency, has acquired Pittsburgh-based ecommerce firm We Do Commerce, expanding its expertise in the ecommerce space and within the Salesforce ecosystem. The addition of the nine-year Salesforce Commerce Cloud Partner positions DEG as a Salesforce partner with complete cross-cloud capabilities. As a Salesforce Gold Consulting Partner and the only three-time Salesforce Marketing Cloud Partner of the Year, DEG has already integrated many Salesforce technologies across clouds to create impressive results for existing clients.

Avangate acquires 2Checkout to expand payment flexibility and broaden market reach. Avangate, an ecommerce and subscription billing platform, announces its acquisition of 2Checkout, a payment processor. The combined company will offer a comprehensive product and service suite in the subscription billing and ecommerce space, linking payment model flexibility with advanced ecommerce, recurring revenue management, and marketing capabilities on a global level. The combined corporation will use the 2Checkout name.

Magento Commerce introduces Magento Shipping to provide merchants with global scale and cost efficiencies. Magento Commerce at Imagine 2017 announced Magento Shipping, an intelligent, multicarrier solution that automates shipping and fulfillment for brands across industries and geographies. The new offering provides merchants with out-of-the-box access to leading regional and international carriers to automate fulfillment, drive cart conversion, uncover new revenue, and expand addressable markets. With more than $101 billion in commerce generated annually on the Magento platform, Magento Shipping is an opportunity for carriers and merchants alike to create new customer experiences on a global scale.

Magento Commerce announces digital cloud for B2B companies. Magento Commerce announced new B2B capabilities for branded manufacturers and distributors to transform and grow. The release of Magento Digital Commerce Cloud for B2B allows merchants to handle complex B2B commerce requirements out of the box, enabling them to simply and cost-effectively adapt business models and meet the needs of digitally connected customers. It also uniquely positions the company to meet the demands of businesses with both B2B and B2C customers. Merchants can now fully support corporate buyers with commerce account management, customized catalogs and price lists, tools for rapid ordering, online requests for quote workflow, and increased inventory visibility across retail outlets. Retale addresses mobile advertising accountability with launch of its store traffic guarantee. Retale, a technology company that develops mobile-first shopping experiences, has announced the launch of the “Retale Store Traffic Guarantee.” Now available for its retail partners, Store Traffic Guarantee is for the Retale mobile app, the company‘s flagship location-based shopping service. Retale commits that it will drive foot traffic to retailer store locations during a campaign period. If the threshold for in-store foot traffic is not met, Retale will offer a guarantee to meet campaign performance parameters.

ContentSquare launches UX Performance Center, a next-generation analytics and insights solution. ContentSquare, a user-experience analytics solution, has unveiled its UX Performance Center, which enables digital teams to make data-driven UX decisions in real-time. Equipped with an AI-powered bot named Arti, the platform uses a combination of AI-driven expert systems and advanced algorithms to capture and track digital and mobile behaviors and offer tailored insights on how to optimize customer journeys. Its data analytics capabilities will provide companies with actionable insights, eliminating the need to manually analyze data.

ShopKeep announces BigCommerce integration. ShopKeep, a cloud-based solution that transforms an iPad into a smart, connected cash register that’s used by more than 23,000 independent businesses, has announced a partnership with ecommerce software provider BigCommerce. The partnership gives ShopKeep merchants the ability to seamlessly integrate an ecommerce platform through their POS system. ShopKeep customers can now tap into secure and robust omnichannel capabilities to extend their brand beyond the physical storefront.
