We continue our ongoing webinar series on January 12 with “Social Media 201: How to Use Social Media Sites to Increase Traffic.” This will be the second social media-related webinar in a month, reflecting the increasing importance of this marketing channel and its impact on ecommerce sales and profits.
In “Social Media 201,” we will offer examples of how to use social media sites like Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube to increase traffic to ecommerce sites and help manage company brands.
The webinar will be moderated by Practical eCommerce’s contributing editor Armando Roggio. The presenter will be Jeanne Hopkins with HubSpot, producers of in-bound marketing software. Roggio and Hopkins will explain how to harness the power of social media sites to get found by more prospects and generate sales leads for your business. Social media can be a powerful channel to attract website visitors and leads while building thought leadership for your company.
The webinar will cover:
- How to attract more website visitors from social media sites;
- How to effectively use Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube;
- How to convert social media visitors into leads and customers;
- How to persuade senior level management to buy into social media.
Practical Ecommerce will continue to offer editorial-driven webinars that we believe can help ecommerce businesses. In the past year, we’ve offered webinars that address search engine optimization, email marketing, trust and security, sales taxes, cross-selling strategies, and more. All of these are now archived on this site.
“Social Media 201: How to Use Social Media to Increase Traffic” will occur on January 12, 2010 at 3pm Eastern time, Noon Pacific time.
Attendance is free with prior registration.
