Until Practicalecommerce.com launched its Job Board, people in the ecommerce industry had no one site to go to see what ecommerce-related jobs were available. Now companies can post their available jobs, along with contact information and links to inquiry forms for users to see.

“The Practical eCommerce job board is a great idea,” ProductCart CEO Massimo Arrigoni said. “I think there's a definite need for it, on both the merchant side and the software publisher side. Successful online merchants are often looking to bring on board engineers and customer service staff already familiar with the specific ecommerce application they use, to reduce or eliminate the learning curve. Likewise, software publishers want not just great developers and product managers, but ecommerce enthusiasts on board.”
To assist job seekers in finding positions at ecommerce companies, Practical eCommerce has made navigation simple on the new job board.
Users can use the live search function, which searches as they type, for speedy navigation through the job posts. Job title, company name, location and skills required are relevant search terms in the live search. They can also search or browse by category if they know specifically what kind of job they’re interested in. These categories range from sales, to merchandising, to development.
Companies interested in purchasing a job post must first log in or create a free Practicalecommerce.com account. Each post costs $149 for 30 days. The postings go live on the site immediately after they are created.
For help composing your job post, Practical eCommerce has included suggestions of items to consider in the job posting form itself.
Thanks to a user-friendly interface, employers can edit, tweak, suspend, reinstate or renew their job post at any time. They can also add new credit card numbers to their account, view their credit card payment history or arrange with Practical eCommerce staff to be billed for recurring job listings.
All job posts come with a satisfaction guarantee. If employers are not pleased with the results of your job post, contact Practical eCommerce. The listing will be run until employers are satisfied.
