Consumers use linking sites like Facebook, MySpace, and others to keep in touch with friends, according to a new survey from eMarketer.
According to the survey, at least 44 percent of Internet users use a social linking site monthly. Of these socially-connected users, 78.1 percent said that they used services like MySpace and Facebook to stay in touch with friends. Additionally, 50.5 percent of users said that they reconnected with old friends on social linking sites, according to JP Morgan via eMarketer.
