As far as hosted shopping cart solutions go, most of them do not follow the appropriate site structure for SEO. Furthermore, most of the Yahoo! stores are on the same IP address. How are merchants who want to rank naturally in Google supposed to succeed with this model. Plus Meta Tags need to be fully adjustable. I've been using SearchFit (http://www.SearchFit.us.com ), an SEO Shopping Cart Solution for almost 2 years and have seen my business rank naturally rather quickly. They tell me they are about to deliver a brand new version with AJAX sorting tools and product comparisons, however, their current version still rocks!

Does anyone know of a good shopping cart in asp.net 2.0? I have one written in javascript, but it's too hard to maintain. I already have a full website (http://www.rainbowandwish.com), I just need a better mousetrap. I use PayPal, so my cart must post to them. I don't use theirs because I don't want to have to go round trips on every item added to my cart.

Thanks in advance! lianaent@yahoo.com

I do not recommend IntenseCart. This company is owned and operated by arrogant unethical individuals and the cart overpromises and underdelivers. Be mindful of unauthorized charges and copyright issues with this company. Beware of additional
"out of scope" charges. Take it from our experience, steer clear from this group.
