I disagree Steve- why carry a wallet at all? When your identity and wallet can be combined in an 'e-wallet', there's simply no reason to carry a credit card- not to mention, credit card fraud has reached epidemic porportions in the US. In the future we will open doors with our voices and fingerprints and carry only one electronic device for our daily needs: including the ability to pay with a cell phone.

I think we will see a move to more Debit and Prepaid cards. This will open the market up to more buyers who otherwise would not be able to shop online.

Also eliminates any risk for the banks or the Merchant.

All The Best!
