Creative Networking from MySpace to the Marketplace
Networking traffic from one website to another can be time consuming. It can also be time very well spent!
As a seller on eBay my sales had experienced a bit of a “slump”. A website called: “MySpace” came into my path. I decided to venture over and take a look. While “sight-seeing” around this new world I was amazed with all the interesting members, including very creative artists of all types. Some were a bit odd and others were so incredibility talented I only wanted to leave each one a message of encouragement!
I soon created my 1st page with my daughters help. I was now on my way to new discoveries! Once my page was set-up I needed some “friends!”
For those that don’t know about MySpace, everyone visiting your page can send you a friend request. You then accept the request and now that person becomes a friend in your network. This is what makes the MySpace world go round: “Friends!”
Seeking friends is the key. This is the way to grow your network.
Linking my items from MySpace to my eBay store was very easy. MySpace became #2 in my eBay store traffic report with eBay as #1 of course!
My sales increased and my newsletter subscribers increased. Which created a network of “future” eBay sales!
It’s a “Win-Win” situation!
Since I love to write eBooks, I had to share with others all that I learned and I wrote an eBook about it! Available in my eBay store: (plug,plug) AskDanna. It was a great success! I did several podcasts about this topic. I was even a guest on eBay radio. You can listen to my Radio interview at my website. I have a page dedicated to eBay Radio! Bottom Line: MySpace is a brilliant tool for not only eBay sellers but for any type of business!
It’s not a place “Just for Kids!”
It’s a marketing tool that will allow all of the e commerce community the opportunity to network traffic direct to a website.
More traffic = More sales! I do offer MySpace set-up and provide user tools that can be found in my eBay store.
MySpace will allow you to “Let your Hair down!”
Be silly, original, creative or serious. The choice is yours.
There are no strict rules with the development of your page and Tom will be your 1st friend!
