Eat Turkey, Give Thanks, Search eBay!
Everyone knows the Thanksgiving routine:
- Give thanks to all those you love,
- Eat some Turkey,
- Gather around the computer and SEARCH EBAY!
Today is the day to Give thanks and share your Christmas wish list with family and friends. Seek out those hard-to-find items waiting for you on the eBay cyber shelves!
Back in the day, after our Thanksgiving meal, my grandmother would get out the sears catalog and pass it around with everyone circling items they wanted for Christmas. After you circled an item, you would write your name within the circle, by the item. Then, she would bookmark each page with a homemade tab attached, showing our names.
Soon after the party was over, grandma could easily fill out her order blank, write her check and all those gifts would be delivered to her door. All from the comfort of her home!
Now, we all go to the computer searching eBay and bookmark the page with our names! We’ve come a long way from the mail-order days at my house!
Personally, I don’t like to go shopping outside my home and will do my best to find all my items on eBay as I do this every year!
Christmas shopping on eBay helps me to avoid long lines and allows me to drink my coffee, listen to my music, wear my best shopping clothes (my jammies), have my cat purring by my side as I shop till I drop anytime of day or night! No need for long lines or getting up at 4:00 am to “Catch a Sale” shopping on eBay has made my shopping experience content. I now can say I love shopping!
BUT, only if it’s on eBay!
Have you seen the deals with Free Shipping? YEP, it’s true! There are hundreds of sellers offering Free Shipping in every category you can imagine!
I set up a page on my website showing a list of TOYS, all with Free Shipping! Click To View!
I even created a way for people to purchase gift certificates to my eBay store! Any seller can set this up through Paypal. I added a bright yellow banner to my site to make it easy to see as well as easy to click. You can find this on my “Mom Approved” page.
This will allow the buyer to purchase and give it as a gift!
It can then be used at the check-out when paying for an item from my eBay store! I encourage all eBay sellers to set this up through the Paypal system! It’s a brilliant tool!
Now is my time to Give Thanks to YOU, my readers!
I greatly appreciate your support! I’d also like to thank Practical eCommerce for allowing me to be a part of the “Bloggers” in this awesome community!
Thank goodness for sites like this, keeping us informed of the trends and happenings in the cCommerce world!
Thanksgiving Blessings,
