This Powerselling team is a "Sister Act" and their braided rug business is a family affair! What a great example they are of the possibilities with an eBay career!

I myself love to hear stories of how people became successful by using the internet. eBay has opened up doors of opportunity for so many I will try to blog about a few of my favorites now and then. Also if anyone has a great story to share with me, feel free to contact me through my website: Power Selling Mom

The name of this eBay store is: Rug Haven and their motto is: "America Loves Braided Rugs"

Braided rugs are quite beautiful and do remind me a bit of the Country look! I personally can remember my Great Grandmother braiding cloths and different fabrics from old dresses to create rugs around her house. I especially remember one for under the sink. What a great memory to have of a simple yet elegant rug in grandmother's house! I bet many of you can relate to that! Braided rugs do add that warmth of family love feeling to the home!

"No two are exactly alike" is another motto and selling perk these gals point out to their viewers. They don't make their own rugs but they do only sell top of the line quality as well as hard-to-find styles and colors.

Great photos are an important part of selling on eBay and Rug Haven goes above and beyond with the layout of their photos! The photos are a great example for new sellers to learn from. One sister is in change of the photo taking and she compliments each one with an object. By adding a simple object to her photos she has expressed the feeling of "Home" as well as the beauty of the rugs and how they can enhance all types of floors. She uses several different settings and I felt it was a brilliant enhancement as well as a simple selling tool.

Their storefront is clean, colorful and easy to read. The store front and their "Me" page was designed by a professional :KFTBDesign.

Another eBay store designer participated with her skills of adding glitter to the trim. I was told this process is very time consuming. You can visit her store at: MotoXRush

Rug Haven decided to take their business a bit further to gain traffic and sales from "outside the box". I had the pleasure to design their MySpace page! Notice how the style matches the eBay store and directs the traffic from MySpace to the rugs: RUG HAVEN @ MySpace. If you're a MySpace member, please feel free to send them a friend request and be a part of their growing network.

Customer appreciation plays a big part of Rug Havens style. These gals go above and beyond! What I love most about all this is how these sisters have come together to create a wonderful business and be there for each other as a family. This kind of love reflects onto their "Heirloom Quality"

Thanks to eBay, families around the world are building business relationships and bonding at the same time. Wishing these gals tons of eBay selling success and thanks for being a role model example for others!
