Hello again. It's been a busy week around here. We've had company and remodeling and yarn vendors. In the midst of all the excitement, I did receive and answer from GoDaddy. They have officially informed me that they don't know what the problem is. They can't duplicate it so it's as if it never happened and of course they have never had anyone complain about this... ever. They did admit that the speed issue wasn't our ISP after I sent them about the sixth trace. I'm not quite sure what to think of GoDaddy at the moment but it's not as warm and fuzzy as it once was.

Before I get too carried away with Plan B, I need to do a little more work with GoDaddy. If at first you don't succeed, try try again. At least that's what my mom used to tell me. I've also heard the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again but expecting a different result. It's a fine line. I could probably go either way at this point..:-)

Let me explain. A few days ago, when my computer and I began speaking again, I decided to try my shopping cart manager again just for kicks (insanity). I noticed there have been a few programming changes. The one I noticed in particular was the "change image" button. This is part of the product editing screen and used when you would like to upload a different image for a given product. There are three for each product. One each for the thumbnail, regular size and zoom. Before the program was revised, the button read "change image" and when you clicked it, a pop-up presented itself with a "browse" button and an "upload image" button. This is one of the many spots in the road that seemed to bog the program down and lock things up (Pretty much any change in a screen that was requested by a button click caused a bog down). Now, the "change image" button has been replaced by a "browse" button and the pop-up has been eliminated altogether. Given this change in the program, I fee it is necessary for me to give it another shot. Maybe someone found an issue and revised the program...??? I'm trying to be fair here so I will give it the old college try and see how it goes. I will be sure to let you know. I'm hoping that it miraculously works (more insanity) and I don't have to search out a new shopping cart. Lazy, I know.

And what if this doesn't work? My good friend, Plan B, is waiting in the wings. I have been contemplating what in the world I was going to do with all of my free time this fall now that the web site is published. Apparently I was worrying for no good reason. It's looking like I may be continuing my shopping cart search. I dread this. I'm gun shy now. You can bet there will be downloading and trials as much as I can get away with. I have my preferences and my list ready. If anyone would like recommend a shopping cart, I'm open. I've had a few thrown my way so far and I appreciate any suggestions from the shopping cart veterans of the world.

Wish me luck!

Till next time, Sandy
