Shopping Cart Limbo
Hello all. Is it just me or is July turning out to be super sized crazy everywhere? Life has been happening at our house this week so the big shopping cart decision will have to wait a few more days. We've had yarn vendors, remodeling, power outages, one medical emergency and more in the mix this week. Everyone is fine but my shopping cart...:-)
I did get back to my GoDaddy shopping cart for a few minutes this weekend. I was going to give it one last chance. Just trying to delete a test category and a test product I had entered resulted in yet more "page cannot be displayed" errors. I didn't push it much beyond that point. I have pretty much resigned myself to the fact that I'm in the market for a new shopping cart.
Once I relocate the list of possible shopping carts that I created for myself (under the sofa, in the hamper.. if you see it, let me know), I will begin my research again. I will be adding a few based on comments I have received. Please keep the comments coming. I need all the help I can get. I hope to narrow my list to about six cart options by the end of next week and then get trial downloads if possible. By mid August, I need to make a decision and be moving forward again. We have lots of exciting new product coming for the fall season and can't wait to share it with the world..:-)
Beyond the shopping cart, things seem to be going ok with the remainder of the web site. I am getting more comfortable with making changes and fixing minor boo boos. I love looking at the stats to see the number of visitors and such. Carol's blog is providing a little fun at our site too. I would like to add more to it but need to get this shopping cart issue under control first.
