Hello all. Another beautiful week. We didn't receive any orders this week but we did have a big spring sale in our brick and mortar store. We've done this since we opened almost three years ago. My how we've grown. That first sale took months of planning and weeks of preparation. We laugh at ourselves for that now. I'm hoping someday to laugh at this stage of our web developement.

Things have slowed considerably in the past month or so. What on earth am I doing? Well, besides having company and working overtime at my regular J-O-B, I've been looking at changes I need to make to our web site.... already. First and foremost, we need to make the time to get more products out there for sale. The more, the better.

At what point do I really start trying to market the web site??? I don't know. All I know is that I don't feel comfortable with it just yet. I look at it and see things I need out there but time is a huge factor. There just isn't enough of it. But then, I'm sure I'm the only one that suffers from this, right?? :-)

So, what am I doing about things? For starters, my husband and I are attending an HTML class at our local community college starting tonight. It runs from 7 to 9:40 so my husbands job is to fill me in on what happens after my brain shuts off at 9pm..:-) This is a credit class but we are taking it as a non credit course. Why? I don't want the added stress of testing and grades.... things are crazy enough around here. I'm confident enough in my study skills to know that I'll walk away with the useful information I need. I hope to continue torturing myself this way until I get what I want out of this web site.

Will you see changes overnight? Maybe, maybe not. I still need to get our products out there to sell. This three day weekend with no company and temps in the 40's outside will certainly help. For any in-laws that might read this, don't get me wrong. We love having company. I just don't get a lot done on the web site when we do. But one must have priorities in life. Family and dog first, then the web site.

Till next time,

Sandy
