Hello all. It's been a slow month for working on our store web site. This weekend will be our third weekend in a row to have company. Love them dearly but I feel so guilty when I don't make forward progress on the site each week. Then I feel guilty for thinking about working on it while we have comany. Where are my priorities?

The only thing that has been progressing is my knowledge of HTML. Last night was my 4th class and we have been covering lots of ground. This week we are studying HTML tables. Useful for lots more than I would have ever imagined yet, it appears that one could really create a rats nest with them as well.

Next week is the last week of class. Since we've barely scratched the surface, I would love to continue on to the "advanced" class. We'll see. I could easily continue with the textbook we have and study on my own... but would I? Would I actually push myself to do 4 assignmenst per week so I really understand what I'm doing? I think I know the answer.. which is why I will probably be taking the class.

Would I recommend this to anyone? It's very basic web site formatting stuff. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is even thinking about creating a web site. Can you create and publish a web site without taking it? Sure, that's how we got here but I still think it's a worthwhile venture.

I'm off to the store this weekend to teach a class in weaving. Then I'll return home to hopefully watch my nephew Ryan's soccer team WIN the state cup on Sunday. Keep your fingers crossed.

Till next time,

Sandy
