Ecommerce and eBay Yearly Check-List
Making a list and checking it twice is the best way to start a new year, a new job or an old life with new plans!
List building can help everyone with getting organized no matter what business you are in. I even encourage my kids to build lists with future plans, goal setting and saving money.
There are many questions you should ask yourself when building a list. Depending on the direction you are heading, a few list suggestions are:
- How much money do you need?
- What career level do you want to be at?
- What goal do you want to reach?
- What weight do you want to be?
- Quit date to stop smoking?
- And: What do you want to be when you grow up?
Once you have the basic idea of which goal you want to accomplish, the list building part can begin. If its money you need then first start the year with how much you need and why you need it. Plan the calendar accordingly by month with a realistic dollar amount goal to meet by the end of each month and have that final end amount in site. Spread it out on the calendar, month by month paving the way down the road to success as you become closer to reach the final goal you had set in the beginning.
It helps the light in the tunnel remain bright as the lights may seem dim at the start but with each month passing by the light will become brighter when you have a plan and focus to see that bright shining star ready to embrace you on your goal reaching day at the end of the tunnel.
Visualization is everything when it comes to goal setting and list building. Add your goals and dreams to your calendar. I update mine each month with monthly goals, yearly goals and what I call “Dream Goals.” Never leave the dream goal off of the list. It may seem silly but if it is something you dream about wanting, then you may as well visualize it and add it to your list.
How much money do you need each month? How much money do you want each month? Add it to your list and set the pace for each area that you do make money from.

- eBay: $3,000.00
- Affiliate: $1000.00
- Blogging: $500.00
- Article Writing: $500.00
- Consulting: $2000.00
- Teaching: $2000.00
- Lunch with John Travolta
Start each month off with new goals, new lists and carry on with that dream! I’ve had “lunch with John” for a few years now but I will not give up so I continue to add him every month. That is my dream goal! That is my vision! I have my reasons for wanting to have lunch with him and it is an idea I have about business not a star struck type of idea. Just wanted to clear that up first! ((smiles))
My point is to share with you a system that has worked for me for many years. I even shared it last year when I released my official calendar sharing with everyone how I’ve reached my goals and was able to get the bills paid over the years. So many people get caught in a rut and don’t pay attention as life is passing them by. Don’t be one of those that blinks an eye in January and summer is suddenly upon you. Don’t set yourself up for failure. Set yourself up for rewards!
If your plan A is not working as you had thought, never fear for plan B is waiting for you around the corner. Plan B is waiting to be discovered but you can’t discover it if are not taking charge of the future! Make that list, check it twice and visualize a successful YOU!
