The New Magazine Layout
I just put up some cover images of the January/February issue of Practical eCommerce on the website, such as on the subscription form and also on the home page for our magazine promotion. I guess I just wanted to put up a quick blog post about it because I for one am REALLY excited about the new direction of the magazine. An illustrator provided some custom artwork for this beautiful cover, and we have a new art director that has been doing a number on the rest of the magazine. Although I've only seen a pre-press proof, the rest of the magazine is as beautiful as the cover.
So anyway, not much substance to this post, but every once in a while I like to just point something out to people. With all the changes that we have been making here for the new year, I have been a little stuck in the website side of things so when I see how the magazine is changing I am really impressed. I have been with Practical eCommerce for a few months more than a year now, and I personally think that the progress we've made in the last year is phenomenal! Take a look at our online store to see how the face of the magazine has changed, and you can read our Editorial Calendar (in the advertising section) to get an idea of how our content is going to take a giant leap forward in 2007.
Enough out of me. I hope everyone else is as impressed with the changes around here as I am.
