|
|
I've been debating using this cool little app that produces a simple image display for my product images(product image with scrollable thumbs underneath).
The .swf file is a container, and it calls images in from a directry as it needs them, so it isn't heavy download wise. Plus, I can add or delete images at will. It looks nice and is easy to use, but, it's a flash file.
I was concerned about people who don't have flash on their computer, but figured, there will be flash images and banners throughout the site. Has anyone run into major issues with the use of flash images/content? Grumpy customers or folks that can 't see things properly? I'm curious about other folk's experiences.

I would still be using gifs for the thumbnails in the categories and related products. This feature would be for product pages only.
Thanks,
