Number one, this thread should probably be moved to the "Show Off Your Site" section.
Now, as for the sight itself, I have to be honest in saying that, for myself, it is not very aesthetically appealing. Firtst of all, the background wallpaper images don't really seem to have anything to do with the overall theme of the site - or, perhaps I'm just not "getting it."
Second, the layout is - in a word - boring. While your text-only content may be good for search-engine recognition (I haven't gone that deep into it as to check out your SEO) .... in my opinion, a BIG PART of grabbing potential customer attention and HOLDING their attention in today's internet marketplace is visual appeal. In addition to meaningful content and information, you need to appeal to surfers' right brain as well - i.e. graphical layout, complimentary colors, smart use of images/graphics, etc. Mind you, this is NOT to say you need to go overboard with fancy images, flash animations, and/or (God forbid) animated gifs. However, if I were searching for an affiliate type business such as yours, and as I would be brousing through sites that came up on Google or what-have-you ... the sites that I would tend to want to look through a bit more are the ones that grab me VISUALLY first.
Again, in MY opinion, the majority of today's internet surfers are VISUALLY motivated. Once again, don't take this to mean that meaningful content is not extremely important - it absolutely is. Nevertheless, what site would you want to look further into ..... one comprised solely of text, or one with both textual information complimented by some eye-catching graphical content? I submit to you that the site with soem elements of graphical content will win out 95-99% of the time.
I actually get into a discussion on this issue with another member in this thread --> http://www.practicalecommerce.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=245. In that thread, I provided some links to better illustrate the kind of thing I am talking about - Text Information + Graphical Compliment = Greater Customer Attention Retention.
For assessment of your SEO content and quality, I defer to those with a bit more expertise in this area - ala Brian Getting and Kerry Murdock.
The great thing about the web and internet business - you can ALWAYS, and relatively easily, improve your storefrint without having to demolish and reconstruct (as one would with a brick-and-morter business).
Hope some of this contructive criticism helps.
