I've had my listings active on shopzilla for since 11:00pm Nov 27th until 1:00pm today, and there have been almost 100 clicks-and I have the minium bid put in and I only have 140 products. One concern is that I haven't had enough orders to justify that kind of spending $30+ a day. Anyone else who uses Shopzilla get that many clicks on a normal day?

I've had a snag with Jellyfish, I can setup the conversion tracking because I have a Miva storefront-I'd need to have a custom module made (I got a quote but the cost ruled out that option. So with Jellyfish I have to wait for them to resolve the issue or a Miva Developer to make a standard module.
As to Shopzilla, I've had a couple of problems, I did the URL's wrong in the datafeed, and therefor spent a significant amount on invalid clicks (Shopzilla doesn't check to make sure the links are good or not). I know that was my fault but the problem is that I had difficulty in stopping these invalid clicks once I figured out what was happening, as they their support isn't really quick-and its impossible to EVER speak to a real person. If you try to take down or pause the listings the changes can take 24-36 hours. I'm right now trying to work with them to see if the can credit back some to the account (mainly what was charged after, the customer rep said the listings were paused).
If shopzilla makes this right then I'll have more to say about them.

Shopzilla certianly brought in a lot of traffic, I'm having to trim down my listings to not run down the account. I made the mistake of listing all my products-but when you have $2 product it doesn't take too many$.30 clicks to make that sale unprofitable. So far they've brought in some good orders. Its just not worth it to list lower priced products-Which brings me to Jellyfish-I like the idea of paying for a percent of sales-it would make it worth it to list even the lower-priced items. However-at the present time Jellyfish can't easily be setup for a Miva shopping cart. I'm hoping and waiting that Miva or Jellyfish will figure out a solution.

Any UK e-commerce site owners out there? I'd be interested to hear your results with Froogle, Kelkoo, Dealtime, etc if you have had any dealings with them?

No updates here? I just fired off a feed to Shopzilla, as well as have a free one one MSN Product Live. The MSN one, is actually pretty productive on a small scale, but we're pretty new.

I'll give a monthly update once I get deeper into Shopzilla.
Also trying to get my site configured with FeedPerfect, but it's becoming a bit of a chore. Hopefully we'll get it going.

I've been using Shopzilla for only a few weeks now, but I've been getting a good deal of traffic from them. Unfortunately, my account runs down very quickly, and no sales. I then switched all my bids to "0" - I still get some traffic, not as much, but I'm not paying for it. Someone told me that if you want to keep your bids at "0", you have to check back the first of every month, because Shopzilla resets your account then.

I started to sign up for Shopper.com until I found out that you had to fund your account with $700. Yikes!

I haven't checked out Jellyfish yet, but plan to do so.

I have been using Become.com and the results have been good. I had Shopping.com but it seemed like I had a lot of clicks with zero conversions. I have always wondered about someone just clicking on all your products while window shopping, this can get quite expensive.

Jellyfish, a Microsoft subsidiary, appears to be a nice idea. The only problem I have with Jellyfish is that some of the products I sell have MAP pricing, so I can't advertise or sell these at a discount. Our industry has many companies that protect their retail pricing, I think that many will soon follow with this. Ebay has created the need for this, some companies will not even sell to internet only retailers. Lots of products have lost their profitability due to this, and the brick and mortars are screaming bloody murder, can't say I blame them either. No one stocks or is interested in selling products that have zero return on investment, so manufacturers are getting concerned with retail pricing. Recently there was a Supreme Court decision that upheld the manufacturer's right to protect their retail. From a business perpective this makes sense.

Jellyfish requires a % of the sale. The percent is a bid that the seller provides. Say a seller offers 10% per sale, Jellyfish keeps 5% and gives the customer a 5% rebate. So if you offer a 10% bid, you get 90% of your retail, minus credit card charges, and shipping if you do free shipping. In my opinion that is a chunk of money, personally I think the credit card companies take enough as it is! I think Jellyfish is great for products with a good 60% markup or more.
