TaxCloud is a free, easy-to-use tax calculation and remittance service offered by FedTax. TaxCloud requires minimal integration effort -- from sign-up to tax collection takes just 20 minutes. It is safe and secure, and it is completely free to merchants.
We provide sales tax rates for every sales tax jurisdiction in the country via a real-time web services API. Our service also manages product exemptions as well as entity exemptions.
TaxCloud provides monthly reports on all taxable transactions, by state. In addition, we can file sales tax returns on behalf of merchants who sign up for Streamlined Sales and Use Tax Agreement service.
FedTax is a Certified Service Provider as designated by the Streamlined Sales Tax Governing Board. Merchants who use our TaxCloud service for the participating Streamlined states receive indemnification against any audits or penalties.
