We lead the community effort behind Drupal Commerce, the premier e-commerce module system for Drupal 7. Our goal with the project is to make Drupal the number one open source e-commerce platform in the world.
Drupal Commerce is the logical successor of Ubercart with a new name and a new approach. We have been reimplementing Ubercart's feature set from the ground up to take advantage of the awesome new Drupal 7 APIs, enforce a clean separation of the Commerce API from the default UI, and adhere to a strict set of development standards, code comments and documentation, and full test coverage.
Core features like Products and Orders take full advantage of D7's core Entity and Field systems. The modules leverage the popular Views and Rules modules to provide easily customizable user interfaces and order workflow automation.
We're building the project with maintainability, scalability, and interoperability in mind to bring Drupal based e-commerce to the Enterprise.
