A DISSATISFIED SOLID CACTUS CUSTOMER
Buyers beware. I do not recommend this company. I am a former customer of Solid Cactus and the experience was absolutely horrible. After several months of discussions with their design team, I still have no design for my web site. Out of frustration I terminated the project & took a $2000 loss. Now I am being told I can't have my remaining unused funding of $2800 back! Instead, they have offered to give me a credit instead of a refund. I have no desire to work with them any further. They lack neither creativity nor integrity. Now I am forced to seek legal action. It is my sincere hope that this message will save some other unsuspecting victim from the aggravation and financial loss I have suffered.

Solid Cacti Should Rethink Practice
Currently looking for design work, an employee stumbled upon SC and we wanted to get a proposal of the work they could do. We waited nearly 2 weeks and never received any response. I'm sure they do good work, but they need to pick up the ball on the customer service, we had to go elsewhere due to this.

I wanted to take a moment to respond to these posts even though they are a little old. This article on Practical eCommerce is actually a directory listing specifically giving eCommerce people an overview of our e-mail marketing services. But, the two ratings on this post are not regarding those services (they are general ratings) so as a consumer reading this post please keep that in mind.
If anyone needs references or more information about our Internet marketing services, please visit our Internet Marketing site at http://im.solidcactus.com. To respond to Mike's post, after the February 1, 2009 post he made, there was immediate communication internally here (all documented) that resolved the above issue to his satisfaction. Often, when things are rectified, folks do not go back and offer the insight that things were resolved so I am glad I am able to clear that up here.
Vince, I am sorry to hear that you were not followed up with. This is not the norm for us at all, especially if you had asked for a proposal. Unfortunately, I am just reading your post now and it seems as if you already found a provider, but if there is anything I can do for you please contact me and I could look further into this. This goes for anyone- please contact us directly if you need help. Posts like this of course provide an outlet for people to share experiences, but if you need immediate attention, we may not see these right away.
