Russ Somers leads marketing for eCommerce video provider Invodo, overseeing product marketing as well as branding and lead generation.
Russ has broad Marketing expertise in Internet-focused technology and information companies. He helped develop SolarWinds’ product marketing function prior to a recent IPO. At Hoover’s Russ led product and subscription marketing, doubling the rate of new customer acquisition with targeted product offerings as well as leading the company’s early entry into social media. Earlier roles include brand management, pricing and analytics roles at Dell and Sabre Holdings.
Russ holds a Master of Business Administration from the McCombs School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Texas at Austin.
