Respond to Negative Criticisms

Make it a point to respond to legitimate criticisms. If the post seems serious and has merit, then thank the commenter for taking time to address the issue, and state your side of the argument. In some cases, that may involve apologizing for an error made on your part, or simply a clear explanation of your policies. But, if the comment is nothing more than "flame throwing," feel free to delete it. Having a clear-cut commenting policy in place makes deleting comments less problematic.
