As bizarre as it may sound, most e-commerce websites assume that site visitors already know what they're going to buy. In fact, your biggest pool of prospects may be people who have no idea at all what they're looking for. These people are "exploring" for ideas or "hunting" for options. Anything you can do to help them find and choose products will set you apart from your competition and open up a large and untapped area of revenue.
