Generate Buzz With a Contest

Ecommerce marketers can use contests to boost traffic and improve sales. For example, you might create a contest that requires newsletter or RSS feed registration, so that you can market to your potential customers on an ongoing basis. Then you can advertise the contest on your store website, at related websites, in web video, and in print media. And, once the contest has ended, be sure to ballyhoo the winner to all of the same websites that you marketed to
