25 Top-Selling Ecommerce Books

Assembling your reading list for a summer getaway? Don’t forget to pack the ecommerce books.

Here is a list of top-selling ecommerce books. There are general books on ecommerce and social media for businesses. And there are books on specific ecommerce subjects, such as search engine optimization and conversion. The list begins with the top-selling book.

To compile this list, I searched for “ecommerce” in Amazon’s book category on June 30, 2010. From those results, I refined my search to “Bestselling.” Then I handpicked titles from that group, based on customer ratings and relation to ecommerce.

I agree, a good list; own a lot of those books. One I would like to suggest in addition is: 100 Things Every Designer Needs to Know About People, by Susan Weinschenk. Readable, interesting and useful. Examples: How web pages might look to colorblind people. How ‘unpredictability’ keeps people searching. I read the book, applied some of the lessons to my e-tail store at http://www.PattycakeDoll.com, increased conversions by 50% in 90 days.
