New Tools for Merchants
Optinify updates popup app for Shopify stores. Optinify, a Shopify popup app to capture email and SMS leads, has released an update. Merchants can now monitor popup views, conversions, and revenue from campaign interactions. Per Optinify, the app tracks every campaign with detailed metrics linked to popup interactions and enables sellers to test headlines, offers, designs, and messages.
Hostinger launches AI Builder for web apps and sites. Hostinger, a web host and domain registrar, has launched AI Builder, combining its website builder and horizons tools into a single platform. In addition to site design and generation, AI Builder handles account sign-in, data storage, ecommerce functions, and email marketing tasks. According to Hostinger, the system can create a store, set up user accounts, provision a database, and connect marketing tools.
Live-selling app Tilt launches Clips for shoppable videos. Tilt, a live-shopping app, has launched Clips, a scrollable feed of short videos to buy or sell without waiting for a livestream. For merchants, unsold items become clips that keep selling after the stream ends or without the stream at all. Hold an item up to the camera, describe it out loud, and AI does the rest, logging the category, brand, size, and condition, per Tilt.
Meta launches AI features for small businesses. Meta‘s new AI features work with Instagram and Facebook accounts, Meta ad campaigns, and Google Workspace. Businesses can prompt Meta AI to use their provided info and the web to create decks, docs, spreadsheets, and other tasks.
Attentive launches AI Grow for email and SMS subscriber growth. Attentive, an omnichannel marketing platform, has announced AI Grow for subscriber growth. AI Grow analyzes real-time browsing and shopping behavior among identified and logged-out visitors to discern the optimal moment to present email and SMS sign-up invitations. Attentive says every AI Grow deployment is measured through incremental A/B testing against a brand’s existing setup.
Designkit launches AI platform to turn product photos into videos. Designkit, an AI-powered creative portal, has released a platform that converts product photos into ready-to-use videos for channels such as TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and ecommerce storefronts.
Sell The Trend launches AI Ads Blueprint for ecommerce campaigns. Sell The Trend, a dropshipping platform, has launched AI Ads Blueprint, an ad creator that helps ecommerce sellers turn product ideas into campaign-ready ads. According to Sell The Trend, merchants can (i) choose advertising formats and let AI generate the creative and supporting copy for a product, (ii) refine messaging, layouts, and creative directions without rebuilding an entire ad, and (iii) move through a single workflow from product selection to inspiration, generation, editing, resizing, and download.
GrowthLoop expands commerce media network. GrowthLoop, an AI-powered marketing tool, has announced the expansion of its composable commerce media network, with new embedded capabilities from adtech partners The Trade Desk, Moloco, and Audience Acuity. The network helps retail and commerce teams build and scale media networks, combining onsite and offsite activation, enhanced audience intelligence, and closed-loop measurement. GrowthLoop operates on data clouds such as Google BigQuery, Snowflake, and Databricks.
Astute raises $1.2 million and launches B2B media platform. Astute, a new company that helps B2B companies manage partnerships with newsletter, podcast, and social media creators, has raised a $1.2 million pre-seed round. Investors include Flyer One Ventures, Silicon Gardens, Marathon Fund, and Entrepreneurs Roundtable Accelerator. Astute says it aims to help businesses identify and manage relevant creators across a fragmented media landscape.
Uber and Zipline partner on drone delivery. Zipline, a provider of drone delivery systems, and Uber Technologies have partnered to scale delivery across the U.S. Uber will also invest in Zipline, and together the companies aim to reach 1 million daily drone deliveries by the end of 2029, with the first deployments later this year. Uber Eats customers can receive their orders in minutes via Zipline’s autonomous drone delivery.
BPMS launches Bloom, an ecommerce marketplace accelerator. BPMS, a media and marketing agency, has launched Bloom to help consumer brands launch, manage, and scale across major ecommerce marketplaces including Amazon, Walmart Marketplace, Target Plus, and TikTok Shop. Bloom states that it supports brands throughout the marketplace lifecycle, from initial launch and account setup through ongoing optimization and growth. Services include marketplace analysis, catalog and SKU management, category mapping, search optimization, reviews, and more.
Alipay launches AI commerce platform for merchants. Alipay, a payment service from Alibaba Group, has launched an agentic commerce platform for merchants with AI tools that merchants can use individually or together. Businesses can convert pages, products, and service workflows into agent-ready skills and MCP tools. For merchants already using AI-enabled services, Alipay’s platform supports AI agent creation, skill orchestration, task execution, and operations management.
ShouldEye launches B2B platform for ratings and visibility across AI models. ShouldEye, a verification and trust tool, has launched a platform that lets businesses monitor their reputations and visibility across leading AI models. According to ShouldEye, the platform reveals how AI models describe, evaluate, and recommend a company while identifying inconsistencies, missing information, and areas that may influence customer perception. Participating businesses can embed ShouldEye’s trust badges and widgets across digital properties.
Remark launches real-time virtual try-on. Remark, a commerce platform for the luxury market, has launched a real-time virtual try-on tool that moves as users move. Merchants can install the try-on on product pages, with no required app or download. Shoppers click to try on live, and Remark renders the garment instantly and keeps rendering as they move, in full high definition and at real-time frame rates. Remark says it builds every rendering from the brand’s own imagery and product data.
Shoppa.ca launches marketplace for Canada-based businesses. Buy Canadian Group Inc. has launched Shoppa.ca, a marketplace for Canada-based businesses. Shoppa.ca is a discovery engine for Canadian-owned products, which are labeled “Canadian-Owned” or “Made in Canada” so shoppers know what they’re supporting.
LibAI Lab launches NewFace for image and video production. LibAI Lab has launched NewFace, an AI image and video creation platform for ecommerce sellers, agencies, and creators. Users describe a vision in plain language, and the NewFace agent builds the project node by node on one canvas, retaining the brief, references, and prior decisions. Users can approve each change, let the agent run on its own, or take over any node.
Koozee launches AI visual production platform for apparel ecommerce. Koozee, developed by Australia-based Starii Tech Pty Ltd, has launched its visual production platform for apparel ecommerce. According to Koozee, merchants can (i) upload a garment image to create AI-generated model images, and then change the model, scene, pose, or angle, (ii) generate main product images, flat lays, detail shots, ghost mannequin images and listing-page assets, (iii) create dynamic lookbook and fitlog videos from apparel images, and (iv) replicate new versions with users’ apparel assets.
