Here is a list of new web tools and design elements from summer 2022. There are video editors, analytic tools, gradients, web page builders, usability tools, content creators, free fonts, and more.
All of these tools are free or have free plans, though some also offer premium versions. The fonts are free for commercial projects. Before using a font, be sure to verify its terms.
Free Design Tools

Daftpage is an easy website builder for landing pages and simple sites. Drag and drop to create unique layouts or start quickly from a template. Daftpage’s editor offers an intuitive and powerful interface similar to Notion. Free for up to three pages.
Bobby is a Windows and Mac app that backs up your Google Docs by converting them to usable formats for your local system (e.g., desktop, USB, external drive).
Motionity is a free and open-source animation editor on the web. It’s a mix of Adobe After Effects and Canva, with advanced features such as keyframing, masking, filters, and more.

HubSpot CMS has launched a new suite of free content management tools, including a theme library, drag-and-drop editor, cloud hosting, website analytics, and more.
Canva Whiteboard is a new collaborative tool to brainstorm with a team, create flow charts, start a mood board, and more. Communicate in real-time. Access graphic elements such as sticky notes, text comments, emojis, and a timer tool. The basic plan is free.
Free Fonts
Vector Line is a modern font from Alexandr Reznik. It’s ideal for eye-catching displays, available in uppercase only.
