New Tools for Merchants
DemandBird launches B2B social media management platform. DemandBird, a social media management platform for B2B teams and agencies, has announced its public launch. The platform features approval workflows for content and campaigns, a calendar for social media editorial and campaign planning, cross-network publishing and scheduling across B2B-relevant networks, and reporting and client-ready analytics with dashboards, reports, and metrics aligned to B2B outcomes. The platform includes AI tools for back-office tasks such as reformatting images, repurposing posts, and identifying analytics trends, according to DemandBird.
Flipkart-owned Shopsy launches AI-powered app. Founded in 2021 by Flipkart, ecommerce platform Shopsy has launched a new AI-powered app uniting social discovery, video-led product experience, personalization, and gamified rewards. The app’s product pages include immersive visuals, customer photos, and autoplay video, per Shopsy, which states the app’s AI-powered search and personalization align the right product with regional intent and vernacular discovery patterns.
eBay launches regulatory compliance support. eBay has launched a regulatory compliance support page listing vendors that offer services to help businesses meet regulatory requirements. The page resides in the eBay Regulatory Guide. Merchants can browse and compare providers that offer services to stay compliant, including regulatory guidance and required data, product safety testing and certification, E.U. Responsible Person representation, Extended Producer Responsibility registration and reporting, and other specialized regulatory support.
TheBestReputation shows businesses how AI search engines see their brand. TheBestReputation, a reputation management service, has launched AIOverview.com, a free platform that shows businesses how five major AI search engines represent their brand. Users enter a URL and receive a detailed visibility report covering ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, and Google’s AI Overviews. The downloadable report includes platform-by-platform visibility breakdowns, competitive comparisons, keyword-level analysis, and historical trend tracking through weekly snapshots.
Doba enhances Pilot, an AI dropshipping assistant for product sourcing. Doba, a dropshipping platform, has upgraded Pilot, its AI-powered assistant launched last month. The update improves Pilot’s AI product sourcing and Q&A capabilities, helping sellers navigate product discovery, store setup, product listing, and platform workflows. According to Doba, the assistant makes dropshipping more beginner-friendly by removing the guesswork about what to sell, how to set up a store, and which steps to take before publishing products online.
Klarna launches AI-powered Shopping Search app in ChatGPT. Klarna, a flexible payments provider, has launched its Shopping Search app in ChatGPT, providing real-time product discovery directly in conversations. Consumers describe in the Shopping Search app what they’re looking for and see visual results with current prices, availability, and offers, all within the same conversation. The app then redirects consumers to the merchant’s site to complete the purchase, according to Klarna.
Pattern launches Intelligence to accelerate AI-powered ecommerce. Pattern, a marketplace services provider for brands, has launched Intelligence, an AI-powered autonomous ecommerce engine. Intelligence identifies marketplace opportunities in real time across offers, advertising, content, pricing, and inventory. Once identified, opportunities spur action loops for immediate execution or approval.
DataDome launches Priority Protect virtual waiting room for AI commerce bots. DataDome, a platform for bot and agent trust management, has released Priority Protect, a virtual waiting room where AI agents shop, book, and buy, protecting businesses from malicious and automated traffic. Priority Protect detects and classifies humans, AI agents, and bots on every request, applying policy control in real time, and scaling instantly to meet peak demand.
Amazon debuts New Arrival and Notable Arrival badges for products. For merchants launching a new product, Amazon may apply a “New Arrival” or “Notable Arrival” badge to highlight to shoppers. Products receiving these badges are newly launched and predicted (by Amazon) to become customer favorites. Amazon determines the period a product is new and removes the badge afterward.
Shiprocket launches appointment-based delivery for quick commerce. Shiprocket, an India-based logistics platform, has launched Appointment-Based Delivery, a scheduled service for D2C brands to move bulk inventory to marketplace fulfillment centers, distributor warehouses, and platforms such as Zepto, Blinkit, Flipkart, Myntra, Swiggy, and Amazon. According to Shiprocket, the service replaces unpredictable bulk dispatches with fixed delivery windows, giving brands direct control over shipment timelines and warehouse compliance.
Sumsub introduces a compliance platform for marketplaces. Sumsub, a compliance verification platform, has launched Sumsub for Marketplaces, enabling those portals to scale while reducing fraud losses and staying ahead of regulatory requirements. Sumsub for Marketplaces combines identity and business verification, behavioral analytics, and transaction monitoring to detect fraud and enable legitimate transactions. The service supports multiple marketplace models, with customizable verification and risk flows across different geographies and environments.
Digital Brands Group partners with Renov AI on ecommerce tools. Digital Brands Group, specializing in ecommerce, has partnered with Renov AI, an applied artificial intelligence company supported by Canada-based Mitacs research and development, to accelerate the launch of DBG’s suite of AI-powered tools. Renov AI’s engineering and research team will support DBG across initiatives such as data intelligence, automation, and advanced analytics.
NFI adds a new California fulfillment center. NFI, a North American supply chain solutions provider, announced a new fulfillment operation in Eastvale, California. The facility strengthens NFI’s ability to deliver scalable, flexible, and technology-enabled multichannel fulfillment and parcel shipping solutions. NFI says it supports merchants across retail, apparel, food, beverage, grocery, industrial, and automotive sectors, and processes 30 million ecommerce orders annually.
Google releases Universal Cart. Google’s new Universal Cart lets shoppers select items to buy while browsing Search, chatting with Gemini, watching YouTube, or even reading Gmail. Once a shopper adds a product, the cart runs in the background to find deals and price drops, and to send alerts when an item is back in stock.
