New Tools for Merchants
Shopify releases spring 2026 update. Shopify has released its spring 2026 Editions with expanded agentic commerce features, AI-powered marketing autopilot, physical returns options, and the integration of the Sidekick AI assistant into third-party apps. Catalog API now supports sign-in with Shop, so signed-in shoppers see personalized results. Shopify has extended Shop Pay to external sites. Merchants can also see how their products are performing on ChatGPT, Copilot, and similar platforms, and obtain guidance on fixing what’s not converting.
Loomi for Shopify adds Sidekick extension for search ranking visibility. Bloomreach, a personalization company, has released a Shopify Sidekick extension for its Loomi for Shopify app, which gives merchants instant visibility into their search performance and is accessible within their Shopify admin. Merchants using Loomi for Shopify can ask plain-language questions about their search and merchandising in Sidekick and receive immediate, query-level insights. Loomi deconstructs search intelligence in real time, helping merchants diagnose and fix issues as they arise, according to Bloomreach.
Cloudflare collaborates with leading browsers on privacy-first protocol. Cloudflare, the global content delivery network, has launched an initiative with Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, and Microsoft Edge to develop a privacy-preserving protocol that helps humans and bots prove their traffic is not malicious. Cloudflare uses private access control tokens so that sites cannot leverage tokens to track users or their browsing history. This initiative seeks to lay the foundation for a more frictionless, secure, and private experience for internet users and website owners.
Snapchat introduces AI-powered capabilities across its ads stack. Snapchat has introduced a suite of AI-powered ad features. Snap Smart Assistant lets advertisers describe their goals and automatically recommends campaign objectives, audience strategy, and optimization settings. Snapchat is opening its ads platform to third-party AI agents through a Model Context Protocol server. Snapchat is also introducing an AI-powered system for creator discovery and campaign activation.
Pinterest releases new AI tools, from ads to personalized shopping. Pinterest is introducing new AI-powered tools: Business Assistant, Model Context Protocol, and Performance+ creative. Business Assistant is an AI collaborator in Ads Manager and mobile. Pinterest MCP embeds AI into partner tools. Performance+ creative now includes a new AI model. Finally, the new Ask Pinterest app powers AI shopping.
Alchemy introduces AgentCard for AI agents built on Visa Intelligent Commerce. Alchemy, an AI developer and infrastructure platform, has launched AgentCard, an integration with Visa Intelligent Commerce, Visa’s portfolio of initiatives to enable secure AI-driven commerce at scale. Through this integration, AI agents can transact using Visa-issued tokens, preserving rewards, credit lines, and card benefits without creating new accounts or credentials. AgentCard features built-in spend controls, including merchant category restrictions, per-transaction limits, and customizable budgets — all configurable at setup or in real time.
Threekit launches AI Sales Agent for manufacturers. Threekit, an AI-powered channel sales platform, has announced Sales Agent, built on its native AI platform. According to Threekit, Sales Agent reasons over product data, configuration logic, visual selling, governance, and enterprise integrations to drive a deal from customer request to a valid, configured proposal on its own. Threekit Sales Agent is deployable across direct sales, channel sales, dealer networks, websites, and ecommerce.
Wayflyer acquires Conjura to accelerate its AI product offering. Wayflyer, a financing platform for consumer brands, has announced the acquisition of Conjura, an ecommerce analytics platform. Conjura consolidates data and utilizes AI models to provide predictive insights on growth and margin performance. Conjura uses a natural language interface, enabling merchants to query complex datasets in plain speaking. The deal advances Wayfler’s existing AI product roadmap for its small business customers globally.
SumUp launches in Canada with two new core products. SumUp, a global financial technology company, has launched in Canada and is introducing two core products there: the SumUp Go card reader and Payment Links. SumUp Go delivers on-the-spot payments in a pocket-sized reader. Payment Links give merchants a fast way to collect payments from anywhere by creating and sending a secure, shareable link.
Mira Commerce launches B2B website accelerator. Mira Commerce, an agency specializing in enterprise ecommerce tools and integrations, has launched ForgeB2B, a website accelerator for commerce. By leveraging a pre-integrated foundation and professional design skins, the new B2B accelerator allows merchants to bypass building from scratch. Features include native support for AI-powered quoting, smart catalog search, and comprehensive buyer dashboards. According to Mira, users can create professional quotes instantly from spreadsheets, help customers find parts and SKUs, and more.
Adobe introduces Brand Visibility for its agentic AI system. Adobe has announced Brand Visibility, a tool for generative engine optimization that combines the capabilities of Adobe LLM Optimizer with Semrush’s AI Optimization. Marketers gain a picture of how their brand appears across ChatGPT, Google AI Mode, Microsoft Copilot, and Perplexity AI — including mentions, audience reach, share of voice, and content gaps. The offering is part of Adobe CX Enterprise, an agentic AI system to manage the customer lifecycle.
Peec AI launches shopping analytics for AI product recommendations. Peec AI, a search analytics platform, has launched AI Shopping Analytics, providing product-level visibility into how AI assistants recommend products in its catalog. AI Shopping Analytics tracks products across AI answers, surfacing visibility, win rate, position, referral locations, comparison attributes, listed price, shopping queries, and more. Also, Peec AI will add Shopping Actions, ranked recommendations for improving product pages based on what AI engines evaluate, along with AI-generated prompt setup and API and MCP access.
AdGPT launches Go Live for marketing campaigns. AdGPT, a marketing platform, has launched Go Live, enabling users to generate and activate campaigns in minutes. With a single product URL, businesses can generate a campaign that includes AI-generated video ads, user-generated content, social media creatives, search campaigns, AI search assets, and conversion-focused marketing materials. Go Live is part of AdGPT’s AI Marketing Operating System, which creates, optimizes, distributes, measures, and continuously improves marketing through AI, per AdGPT.
Adyen announces universal agentic translator for commerce. Adyen, a financial technology platform, has announced Adyen Agentic, a suite of modular APIs to sell through conversational AI platforms. Adyen Agentic introduces three layers — Agentic Feed, Agentic Cart, and Agentic Payments — for various stages of the customer journey, from product discovery to payment. Adyen Agentic is a universal translator across agent platforms, protocols, and payment methods, so merchants can access new commerce channels without rebuilding their commerce systems.
Commercetools partners with Mirion Technologies on a B2B AI agent. Commercetools, an ecommerce platform, has partnered with Mirion Technologies to launch an AI-powered capability that turns unstructured order requests into quotes and carts. The Commercetools B2B Intake Agent ingests customer requests in multiple formats, extracts relevant order details, and produces structured commerce objects aligned with the correct customer account, catalog, and pricing context. According to Commercetools, the new agent processes incoming requests, matches product details to catalog data, drafts quotes and carts, and integrates with CRM and service platforms.
Adoozle launches visibility platform for genAI. Adoozle, a ZipVentures brand, has launched its visibility platform to help businesses and marketers learn how AI search and answer engines discover, understand, and recommend. The new platform begins with an AI visibility audit that evaluates how search and answer engines find and reference the business. Users can then create an answer-optimized business profile to provide AI systems with structured information about their company, products, services, expertise, and market positioning.
Veho featured on Racklify’s fulfillment marketplace. Veho, a last-mile delivery and parcel shipping platform, is now featured on Racklify, a marketplace for brands and retailers to evaluate and select third-party logistics and fulfillment providers. Veho’s parcel delivery network and capabilities are visible on Racklify’s platform at the moment brands are making those decisions. Brands already working with Veho also gain access to Racklify’s network of vetted 3PL and warehouse providers.
